From a financial and sustainable perspective, choosing children's clothing for a season isn't an easy task. The fact that clothes quickly outgrow our little ones often leads to more impulsive choices. However, we want the clothes to speak about them and their personality, avoiding being too impersonal. In this regard, several factors should be considered in building a wardrobe - pieces should be simple, comfortable, sustainable, and affordable. I understand the struggle, having spent too many hours searching for the right pieces that meet these criteria, time that could be better spent playing with our kids.

What if someone, based on these principles, could build the perfect wardrobe for my kids? I prefer to invest in basics, timeless pieces that easily complement other wardrobe items. I also steer clear of clothes with cliché phrases and focus on 3 or 4 brands with mostly basic and neutral pieces of sufficient quality to last as long as they fit. I then select 1 or 2 more elaborate outfits for parties or special occasions that can also be easily paired with the rest of the wardrobe.
